This week, highlight on one of our recent French data center projects.

Computer servers and data storage equipment, at the heart of data centers, create heat where cooling becomes the main concern.

More than a third of their total energy consumption is dedicated to cooling. An air circulation must be set between the hot air exhausted from the servers and the return air duct of the air conditioning unit.

From the design of the data center, our engineering department was involved in finding a global solution from the air intake to the distribution, from the air circulation to the recycling, for a cooling system by fresh air on the server rooms.

Our ME industrial dampers specially designed for large section ductworks were particularly well suited to handle the ventilation of computer servers. As this room is very sensitive, the 4C airtightness class was required in order to isolate the room in case of contamination from the outside air.
