Characteristics

Backdraught damper ARE is designed for a one-way air flow direction. The blades prevent reverse flow in the ductworks. It is suitable for commercial and industrial HVAC applications.

Construction:

  • Frame and blades: galvanised steel, stainless steel 304 or 316L
  • Gaskets on blades and frame: EPDM
  • Blades actuation via linkage

Performances:

  • Acceptable pressure: 1 800 Pa for a length of  L = 1m
  • Upstream/downstream airtightness: class 3 (EN 1751) guarantee from a back pressure of 900 Pa
  • Operating temperature: -20 to +90°C
  • Air velocity: between 5 and 15 m/s

Option:

  • Frame’s airtightness: class C according to EN 1751
  • Operating temperature: -20°C to +200°C
  • Counterpressure system to assist with opening or closing
